I have just bought a ioptron skytracker mount to have a play with some wide field astrophotography, not used it yet but it looks a good bit of kit and reviews and photos I have seen are very good

I'll add my vote for an Astro section. I've had a few attempts and never know where to post shots to get the right advice.

I do a bit now and again. This is one area of photography however, that is very much gear dependant... and I don't have everything I;d like. Plus... I'm in a very light polluted area... which is frustrating.

Indeed got the camera, tripod etc all setup the other evening, and was just ready to start when a large cloud came across the sky and that was it for the evening

Yep! I'm into Astro, only wide shots though as I don't have a telescope etc. (Can anyone tell me how to get my photo to appear, I have no clue)
