Any comments on this lens for Basketball?

Hi all,

I really need something in this range
Sigma 85mm f1.4 EX DG HSM for my basketball shots. Anyone have any comments on this lens or could reccomend something similar?

Sounds like it should work in theory tbh (85 1.4 should be great). But I've never used one myself.

Thanks Joe, 1.4 would be too narrow dof, so would use between f2 & f4. Was hoping someone could let me know if the af was a reasonable speed, and if the IQ was good enough for the price.
