Any D90 -> D7000 movers noticed better focussing ?

Hi,

I'm considering moving to a D7000 as my bugbear with the D90 is i get far too many soft results, maybe it's my technique but i had no issues with the D40 before it.

Have any others who moved noticed an improvement in this area ?

Maybe i need to persist with AF-C as I may not be quick enough in AF-s to get razor sharp images before I or the subject moves a small amount...

I believe the general feeling is that because of the extra resolution of the sensor technique is even more important with the D7000 than the D90. The D7000 sensor simply exaggerates imperfections like shaking, mediocre glass and so on.
 
Noticed a massive improvement after a move from a D70 to D7000. Just done a load of macro shots and the majority were with AF. That just wasn't possible on the D70.

I doubt that you would get such a big improvement from the D90 though as that was already a few years ahead of my D70.
 
I certainly had no problems with my D90 in AF-C. If it wasn't sharp it was almost certainly my fault.
