For using my new D3000, Like this is the start of my photography path
So any tips n ideas will be appreciated
There is a lot of helpful information in Nikon' s Digitutor for the D3000 and more in Learn & Explore.
If you're an absolute beginner I'd visit the local library and browse the shelves for books on photography and then look in their catalogue for those that are available but aren't on the shelves. Try things out and see how you get on. There should be an introduction to digital photography course somewhere near you and that might be something else you can look at doing.
Keep trying things out and you'll learn as you go along - as we all do; and most of us never stop.
If you can spare the time (and the cash) Nikon Training are running their own Introduction to Digital SLR Photography course in Manchester on 22 February.

you are ahead of me and more correct
i meant use it in manual mode...not such a good idea till you do read the book
