Any Good?

If you are a midget, I guess. It doesnt go very tall, so you might be stooping, and I'd be worried about the stability with all 4 leg sections extended.

Ridiculousy cheap tbh, and I'd guess it would be challenged by any DSLR with even a moderate lens mounted. Add in the slightest breeze and the whole thing would probably be quivering like a jelly! ;)

Obviously, you find your Giottos too heavy and/or bulky to cart around? I can see the attraction in a lightweight tripod for carrying about, but the reality is you're gaining nothing if it doesn't perform well when you need to use it.

I have a Gitzo which performs all the functions you're looking for but it would probably cost me over 300 quid to replace it, whereas this one you're looking at can be bought on Amazon for 16 quid. 'Cheap' and 'stable' doen't work with tripods unfortunately. :shrug:
