Hey all i have just taken this with my new 10 stop just as a tester but on all my pics there is a glare spot on:

Is it because it is directly at the sun or is it due to the filter? Any ideas of how i get it off? Do i just stop removal it or is there a better way?
Cheers,
Marc

Looks like lens flare as you are shooting directly at the sun. Not easy to get rid of! Sorry I can't be more helpful.

Both. You'll get at least some of that without a filter, but any filter will make it worse. The double-image of the sun is down to the filter.

Luckily, you tend not to use very dark NDs in situations like that, but you need to be aware of it. It's very common with graduated filters though, that are often used for sunsets.

The double-image is a reflection bouncing off the sensor and then back again off the rear of the filter, so you can't see it through the viewfinder, only on the image (or in live view). A lot of the time, you can move the flare patterns around quite a lot just by changing the composition and moving the sun off-centre.
