I've never had this issue before, so I must have done something wrong! I'm sure this is something really simple but I seem to have hit a stumbling block.

Ok, 118 images in a folder all in order of time taken except it's showing the latest image first. I'd like to reverse that order, and I can't for the life of me work out how to do it.
If I view the files as a list I can reverse the order, but when I go back to icon view its back to how it was :bang::bang:

All I want to do is burn the images to a disc and know when the client opens the disc they'll be in correct order of time taken.

Any help will save me going out in the cold to buy large volume of alcohol, thanks :)

I assume this is in Finder?

Hmmm

Normally, in list view you can right click and select "Sort by modified date"...If you then right click and select it again, it reverses the order.

However, this doesn't work in icon view.

A quick google suggests it might not be possible?

That's silly if it's not!

Thanks, I found the same link too. I was kinda hoping they had got it wrong! Its very un-apple like

The only way I could see to fix it was to change the ascending/descending order in library mode in LR, so now i've just re-exported and they're in the right order.

Still very silly you can't change it in finder though, I'll to write to Steve and tell him he's an idiot :)
