Do you get a delay as you do with the normal point and shoots......by that I mean if you have a moving subject and you press the shutter button does it take straight away or by the time it's taken has the subject moved out of the frame

I used one a recent holiday for two weeks.
The camera does not have a shutter lag and if anything the focusing speed is impressive. I have yet to see the pictures it took on my computer (only transferred them to my ipad mini) but I am quite happy with them. Given that it was all on auto and JPEGs because really they were snapshots I'd say that for a compact it is quite brilliant.
