Any Pentax 67 II shooters out there?

Hello everyone

I have a very nice 67 II on loan with the aim of buying. So I loaded a roll of Ektachrome 100 slide and wanted to do some star trails tonight but, among a few other blunders, saw that the camera "forgot" the frame count.

Is this a known issue of these bodies or could it have something to do with the temperatures outside and battery power...the batteries are two brand new Energizer CR 123s so the cold maybe?

But seriously, why would that be? Although I will be binning the roll of Ektachrome I had in it, it would seem the film was loaded correctly because the camera seemed to perform perfectly in every other way.

I studied the manual too but that did not help much on this issue...
