I'm going to SantaPod Raceway tomorrow and I really want to get some good action shots. If anyone could give me some adivce or any tips on how to get good action shots of them racing, it would be greatly appreciated.
Tell us what kit you have: camera, lenses etc and what type of shots you're hoping to achieve: just the racing; burn-outs, background stuff etc and what access you have: stands; paddock area etc.

I have a Nikon D5000, 18-55mm and 55-200mm lens and tripod. I'm wanting burn outs and racing. I know a 200mm wont be amazing when there racing but it's worth a try.
Sounds like you have all you need for some pretty good shots - your main difficulty will be in picking the right viewpoints...
I'd suggest looking at the Santa Pod website and work out where the best shots are taken from and reverse-engineer your positions from them... or Google 'Drag Racing' and see what pops up...
