Any way of retreiving Windows mail Data ??

My pc died Last week and a new one is on its way, the hard drive in the old machine is ok and I will be able to get all my documents etc that I need, but it would be great if I could get my adress book and my in box if possible from windows mail.

They are usually found here

C:\Users\username\Contacts
C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Mail
The mail folders can be imported into a new windows mail program on another drive/pc as can the contacts.

I have ordered a sata -usb cable to get access to the drive as a stand alone unit, do I just import from the locations you gave in your reply.

Would be better to copy to a folder on the new drive, then import.
