Anyone experienced this Sigma lens problem?

I have a Sigma 18-125mm OS lens which has started producing a high frequency vibration. It lasts for 5–10 seconds or until you turn the camera off, then stops and I think it must be caused by the OS function.

Is there something that I could have done to cause this?

Has anyone had a Sigma lens repaired for this fault and if so, how much did it cost?

have you tried turning the os off,

Yes, tried that but it still does it. I think that on this lens the OS is partly functional even when set to "off".

Anyone else experienced this?
