Hey
Need to check my 2 RAM sticks. It's ddr3. It's either dead,or just incompatible with new MOBO.
I can even consider posting it.
Anyone?

also, check its running at it's rated speed and not above, and that it's getting the right voltage. What sort of issues are you getting ? Does it not even POST ?

Tried that.
It's new asus with 900x chip for am3+ ram is corsair pc16000 c9 2*4gb
Tried them one by one with no luck.
After small research it seems new am3+ boards can be picky as for RAM...my ram is not on the compatibility list but I never was checking that ;)

Doesn't.
I'm not new to pc's lol

There is a led on mobo saying issue with ram,
There is a button that can change settings of ram before pc posts, so I press it,it blinks does its stuff and ends in showing fault;)

model no?

yes boards can be picky, i had issues with an intel 1155 board and DDR3 dual chan.

Model of mobo? M5 something EVO ;)
Out of my head don't remember rams ;)

if your ram is new, consider buying another set that's on the compatability list and sending the other stuff back, Corsair memory is usually on most compatability lists though, it's pretty standard ram.

I can test it if you want to post it, or I might have a generic 2gb DDR3 stick at home I can send for you to test ?
