I've seen a lens on Ebay that I'm very interested in, but the buyer has zero feedback, and I'm a little concerned about sending £400 via paypal for a lens I can't see (and which might not even exist !). If anyone from Peterlee would be kind enough to have a look for me I'd be happy to buy them a drink as compensation for your time. Can anyone help ?

Many thanks

Are they a new registered ebayer - As iirc your covered with paypal as they wont release the funds to them untill you have received the item & have left feedback for them.. Until you confirm you have recieved it they dont get paid...

It does annoy me thou when sellers on the bay dont show pictures of the actuall item that they're selling - If they do its usually the bloody stock photo at that which gets my goat up even more...

If your that interested in the item ask them for pictures if they dont or cant do any them have a look at someone whose actually done it - for your piece of mind... So as our Graham used to say on blind date - "the choice is yours"

Curious to know - do you have the item number or member that is selling the lens - Saying that have you checked the classifieds or posted a wanted ad? :shrug

Or you could phone ebay & ask them about it...
