I have an X10 and I like it but the X30 is dropping in price £249 at currys any views?

Quite like the idea of the EVF
 
Does the EVF carry exposure data overlay or is it just an electronic viewfinder? I've been eyeing the X30 up myself...
 
I think it does and covers 100% of the view.
 
You're a bit late as most places except Jessops have the price back up to £283/4 or are out of stock (Currys).

I went X10 to X20 to X30 and the X30 is the only one I feel truly comfortable with and it's down to the EVF. I tried hard to like the OVF on the 10 and 20 but it just didn't work for me.

I'm not late I am only just thinking of maybe changing as I have a month holiday coming up in August.
 
Done the X 10-20-30 road and now have the 10 and 30 but not the 20. Upgraded from the 10 to the 20 for the information overlay in the VF but was a little underwhelmed by it - the exposure info is there but can be very hard to see against the subject and the artificial horizon isn't in there. Had sold the 10 to a mate and when I was thinking about the 30, he fancied an upgrade to the 20 so I took the 10 back in part ex for the 20 and put the extra cash my way towards the 30. Mrs Nod prefers the 10 - leaves it in EXR mode and uses it as a P&S but I like the control and WYSIWYG that the 30 allows me to see through its EVF, especially the level! Well worth the upgrade for an enthusiast but possibly not for a pure snapper.
