I had an idea the other day about Apps.
I'm rather involoved with my local sailing club and have a number of positions within the club, and it got me thinking about having an App for the sailing club (iOS and Android)
It would just be like the normal shopping apps out there, like the Sainsburys or Tescos app for example.
Nothing flashy, just have
Bit of general info about the club
plan of the lake
sailing program/events program
storage of you membership card (like Tescos clubcard App)
Maybe a photos area that members can upload photos too
Push notifiactions, so when I email memebers, if they have the app installed, the message will come thru to that (if thats possible?)
How easy would that be? And is there anyone on here that has the know how to either explain or perhaps do? It's a voluntary club, but I'd be prepared to pay fees (so long as reasonable) just becasue I'd love to see it happen.
