Anyone got a Canon 28-300L?

Been looking at these for a while to replace my Sigma as the focal range is very very useful, but my Sigma falls down on sharpness. Has anyone got one and can post a couple of shots wide open and at 300, or give an opinion on it?

Im getting one off a mate over the weekend, i used it in almeria and loved it focused really quickly. i dont know much about them but i bought some pics off him at anglesey so will post them if there any help to you. not sure on exact settings used and may have been taken with a converter on as well if that makes a difference.

the only pic i can say was taken with a 28-300 others say focal length was 400mm so could of been using his 400mm or using a converter on it i presume.
