Anyone has the Canon 35L f/1.4?

I'm about to pull the trigger on one of these, mainly for low light work at weddings in the evening reception to get more atmosphere as I find the 50/1.4 is too long.

I have looked At the samples archive thread in PoTN and it's 300+ pages thread on it, but wondering anyone here has one?

raymond, i'd be really interested to see what you achieve with the 35L, especially full body portraits outside (especially where there is limited space)

it's on my list of lenses and i've given it serious consideration before... but it's pretty expensive, so was thinking of going for a 17-40L as a compromise, though obviously I looe 4 stops.

anybody have the 17-40L and use it for full body portraits ?

The vignetting at f/1.4 is very strong!
