Anyone have the Neewer TC 80N3 for canon? Seems a bargain...

Nope but I paid less for mine on eBlag... whoever made has made a good job though the only thing I can detect different between them (other than the standard of the manual) is that the backlight is orange rather than green... which I'll struggle on with for £100-odd in my pocket...

Thanks for that - one thing I noticed someone say about a similar brand on the internet was that it doesn't have an off button - does yours have one?

Mine's slightly different to that one (takes a CR2032 coin cell)... but no, but given the battery life is reputedly 3 years and due to a slight mixup the last time I ordered some ("Oh that's a reasonable price, price break at 6+", order 6 then 6 strips of 5 turned up), it's low on my priority list (strip of 5 in the camera bag as spares) and you can buy a lot of batteries for £100 anyway :)

hmmm... I think it's worth a gamble then thanks. If anyone is interested I'll post back my experiences with it here when it arrives

I was sceptical I have to admit - but it appears to count realistic repeatable seconds - certainly better than I can myself without getting bored... but given it was cheaper than the standard remote switch (which would require the addition of a watch to do interval shots) I thought it was worth hazarding a tenner on and so far it has been.
