Just wondered if anyone on here uses a shootsac to carry their lenses around? I ordered one from Adorama last night as they're doing a special offer with an extra cover.

I'm getting fed up with carrying two cameras at weddings, when I could just as easily swap lenses ( as I've never yet had a time where I've needed to swap so quickly changing lens wouldn't have been possible ) and not have to put one camera down on the floor etc all the time.

I know they're popular in the US with wedding togs, and I follow a lot of them and their work, and they get mentioned a lot on thebschool but I'm not sure that many people over here get the point of them. Too many cheapskates in the UK I recon

Looks very useful Pete.

I would be very interested to know how you find it.

I wonder if anyone has found any less expensive alternatives, as I already have an endless number of camera bags and I can’t really justify spending another £100+....
That is unless you tell me it’s a ‘must have’ Pete!

Yeah they're not cheap, but having read about Colins woes having a camera get pinched, I'm now only going to carry the one camera at weddings. I normally have my Billingham550 packed with stuff, which I never use, lying around and my second camera normally on the floor while I shoot.

Since I've never yet not had my car an easy walk away, I'm now going to keep most of the kit I don't use in the car, or at least in the staff office or something.

I've been going to get one of these for ages as I think it'd suit my style better anyway. And I've been meaning to order the new Nikon speedlight DVD as well ( which can't be bought here ) so I've killed two birds with one stone :D

I'll report back about how things work out.

Pete
