If you are talking about secondhand values........I must check what I have....... I could be sitting on a bit of money

I am specifically searching for Sandisk, not other brands...i know they are not direct from Amazon but still...it seems strange?

They're on sale for £100 but nobody will be buying... At least not intentionally.
Two reasons:
Seller is on holiday - it's free to change the price on Amazon but costs to list (so if you're a seller going on holiday you avoid the inconvenience and cost of unlisting and relisting)
Seller is a charlatan - if multiple vendors are on the same listing (the others at reasonable prices) the unwary may click on the stupidly expensive one.
It's a similar tale on eBay regarding listing fees

I haven't bought a CF card for years, but I was curious and checked Currys website (I have no particular preference for Currys, we go there occaisionally because it's easy to get to). Extreme Compact Flash Memory Card 32GB @ £40.99 and 64GB @ £54.99.

Lots of cameras only supported up to 8Gb, and even more would only format up to 8Gb
Take the Canon 5D to use a larger card you have to format it in PC, format it in camera and it only formats the first 8Gb - many cameras from this era and earlier wouldn't support larger than 8Gb
