Thinking about trading in my two older tripods for a new series 1, either the 1545t or the 1542 mountaineer.
They now reach sensible heights with the centre column down and have larger diameter legs, think my series 3 systematic is slight overkill for the much smaller Fuji cameras I now use
Just want to know if they are any more stable than the older versions before I take the plunge, my old G1158 is a bit short and light to keep as my one tripod
