Anyone own the Canon 70-300mm L IS?

Looking at getting one of these for work, we've always gone with the 70-200mm 2.8 L IS but we don't really need the 2.8, a bit more reach is definitely more valuable!

I've heard a lot of good things about them online in reviews, just wondering if anyone on here has had any experiences and comments about it?

I know it's a relatively new lens in the line up so it's probably a long shot!

Yes I have one, was bought to Replace the EFS 70-300.

Use it on my 7D.

Don't know what your use for it is in your job.

Needs Good light to get the Best out of it though.

Fantastic to Hold although It's quite Heavy, Very compact and fits my smallest canon bag with it's Tripod Collar on. So everything I need in One Bag.

Image Quality needless to say is much Improved over the EFS lens.
