Hi,
Got a sigma 70-300 apo f4 lens that has minor fungal issues that I wish to fix. I'm not bad at stripping things down or putting them back together - this was my trade for 6 years. However upon putting it back together last night the aperture blades are stiff and lock up.
The issue seems to be the v shape lever that allows the manual aperture ring to function, but even adjusting it manually the blades don't return because the spring isn't strong enough to overcome the stiffness of the v shape lever.
I can upload some photos later, if it helps, but any one know or had a similar issue?
