Anyone tried the Haida ND graduated filter?

I wouldnt bother with a screw in grad. It completely limits your composition.

i use their 10 stop filter and is good but i'm sure their grad is decent as well but like Tom said i would prefer slot in grad ND instead.

Thanks for the input - I've never tried grads, so am a completely clueless with them, why would you recommend against a screw in one? What difference would it be to a rectangular slot one?
 
A rectangular you can adjust where the grad is without moving the camera, so you get your composition, then move the filter to suit.
You cant do that with a screw in, you have to move the camera to move the graduation, which limits you as to how you compose your shot.

If you use the rule of thirds for example, the horizon will be on the top third of the frame. You'd slot the filter in and line up the end of the graduation with the horizon, so the end of the grad would be on the top third.
With a screw in, the grad is usually in the middle, the only way to get the grad to the top third is to pan the camera upwards.
