Has anyone tried the Star Adventurer Tripod for mounting their Star Adventurer or Star Adventurer Mini (SAM)? https://www.firstlightoptics.com/sk...-watcher-tripod-for-star-adventurer-mini.html
I've just ordered a SAM so I'm looking for a lightweight, portable and sturdy tripod to mount it. I already have a Benro carbon tripod for everyday DSLR stuff but I don't think it will be solid enough for long exposures on a tracking mount. I'd also like to keep using the Benro tripod with my 2nd camera while the SAM is doing its thing. The price of the Star Adventurer Tripod is very reasonable (£60) but this makes me worry it won't be any good. However it's supposedly designed for the Star Adventurer which is heavier than the SAM.
I can't find any reviews about the tripod anywhere so I'm hoping someone that has used will read this and give their opinion.
