Anyone use a Kata R-102 /104 / 106 or other backpack?

Hi All,

Thinking of getting a new backpack, and like the look of these. I want to be able to hold the following

40d + grip
Sigma 18-200
Canon 100-400L
28-135is
20d spare body
480ex flash
batteries and cards.

I can't make up my mind on the laptop requirement or not - so wondered what your experiences were.

Alternatively what other backpacks do you recommend

Not used a backpack with laptop compartment - I eventually decided the odd occasion I would want to lug both about (where I wasn't able to carry the laptop seperately, or have in the car nearby etc) was very few and far between so didn't want the extra size / bulk with the bag. Currently got a Lowepro Mini Trekker, I've also used the Tamrac 4 (or was it 5?) backback - was very sturdy and very well built :thumbs:
 
I've used ths smallest Kata 3in1 for a while and have been very pleased with it. The sling feature is excellent, allowing access to the bag without having to put it down.

It won't fit the kit you list but there are 2 bigger sizes.

Can only suggest you find a stockist and take all your kit along to try the bags out. I began to get an inkling as to why women feel the need for so many handbags, my camera bag count is now 3 :D
