anyone used 7dayshop filters

Well i have been pestering the mrs for a new filter for my birthday (coming up soon) and have only ever really bothered looking at expensive hoya pro kinda filters as i have always thought 'whats the point in having an expensive body with L glass then throwing a cheap filter ontop'

I' was debating between a gnd or a polariser but have noticed that the 77mm filters on 7dayshop.com are only around a 10er each! are they really going to be as bad as i think they are? has anyone used them before?

The difference between a Hoya Pro1 UV filter and a 7dayshop 'Pro' filter for ~£7 is big - I bought one to try out a few months ago. How much it matters when not comparing them is another matter altogether and probably depends on your photography style (i.e. there are other reasons to upgrade to L glass than out-and-out IQ, like swift focussing and wide apertures).
Do the right thing and get the good stuff though

I was the same about a month or so ago, the cheapest I found at the time were from www.cameratonic.co.uk but I'd have a good look around as they be better deals to be found now
Personally I wouldn't want a cheap filter to spoil what could be a fantastic photo!
