I got one of these battery packs for my SB-900 the other day and it doesn't seem to work. I've placed 8 brand new batteries in the chamber but I'm getting no indicator lights. Does anyone else have one of these and if so do your indicator lights come one??

Hope someone can help….

I have one of these i use for Canon Flash.. sounds daft but make sure all batteries are the right way.. Also make sure they click into place too.. and yes lights will only indicate once connected to flash.

Thanks chap. I took them out and put them back in again three or four times - including some Eneloops and some brand new non-rechargeable batteries.

Nothing seemed to work.

Although saying that, does the flash need to be connected to the camera. The pack was connected to the SB-900 and the flash was on - but it WASN'T connected to a camera. If you don't mind could you check that for me as I may have just ordered another one in error!! :D :D :D

Just checked... with Flash OFF Camera.. then attached.. both LED's lit up .. so it would seem you have a faulty Unit :(
 
Though so Chris. Thanks a million for checking mate :)

I posted back the one I had today and the seller (Amazon Market Place) has already sent me another today for delivery tomorrow.
