Been looking into Wireless File transmitters for my 5dmkII.. and they are rather expensive...

Then i came across Eye-Fi... as its SDHC, im guessing it will still work if its put in a SD to CF adaptor... or am i wrong??

If anyone can help i'd be grateful... would save me a lot of cash if it works!!
 
It will work with some adapters. Metal parts in adapters sometimes provide too much shielding.

However, manufacturers say not to do this as it will sooner or later lead to data corruption and (they claim) possibly a damaged card.

cheers mate, its a shame they dont work very well... its so so so much cheaper than a WFT...
 
Also remember you need the more expensive card if you want to transfer raw files, the £49 one only handles jpg's
 
yeah i was looking at the Pro X2... i think thats what its called!
