anyone used/using one of these ?

I'v got a third party grip on my 20D, had it for nearly two years and still going strong.

i think for under twenty quid its got to be worth a shot eh ?. . . . .

I've had Meike grips on all of my cameras and the first one I got for a 550D now lives on the wifes 650D and is over 2 years old. I've never had any problems with the Meike grips and while they are a bit more expensive than the one you've seen they are very well made. For that price, even if it doesn't last forever, it can't be bad. Even if it packs up within a year it'll be under warranty anyway, where's the risk.

Had a 3rd party grip on my 5D MKII since it came out
No problems with it

Bought one from that company last week for my D7000, seems well made not at all flimsy, and yes the brand is Meike

well i arrived yesterday and seems fine, thought it would be a bit cheap and plastiky but not at all, i havnt used it in anger yet but it fitted fine and it all seems to work, so i got a grip and two batteries for under £30, cant be bad eh. . . . .

I have had a 3rd party one for nearly two years now, still going strong

Had a Phottix on my 450D, a Meike on my 7D and I'll probably get a cheap(er than Canon) grip for my 5D3 when I get around to ordering it.
