Anyone used XnviewMp ?

Hi, looking to start using a bit of better software for file sorting/metadata etc.
I know people on here use Photomechanic mainly, has anyone used XnviewMP? If so, what are peoples experiences of using it?

I can't see it doing any of the things photomechanic does? PM is used to populate the IPTC field.. has code replacements can ftp or email and loads more for photogrpahers pitchside...
