Anyone using a CleySpy Mulepack or similar?

Yes, I have the CleySpy version permanently attached to my birding tripod, used mostly for my spotting scope but also there to support my camera. It really is the easiest most comfortable way to carry a tripod around, even with my scope attached. There are just two bad points.
Firstly, it really ruins stability when it's windy. That's not too much of a problem with the scope as the brain is very good at smoothing out the wobbles. But it can be a real pain when using the camera. 'Why not just remove it for shooting?' I hear you ask. Well, that's bad point No. 2 - it's not very simple to put on and take off. That's why it's on my birding tripod permanently. And that's why I have a birding tripod, as well as an ordinary (heavier, sturdier) tripod for use when I'm not trekking miles with my scope and camera.

Thanks for the reply, ive read about it acting as a sail in windy conditions, although some say you can counter it slightly by how you position the "sail" in relation to wind direction. Ive also spotted the scopac lite, i like the idea of the mesh back for summer, but liked the ruggedness of the cleyspy and the pouches. I wish more places stocked these things so you could have a good look.
