Hello all.
I am thinking of getting the Nikon 135 f2 DC lens.
I have a D7000 at the moment, although will be getting a full frame soon. ( Not sure whether D700/D3s or wait to see if D600 materialises)
Anyway, for now I have been looking for images with the D7000/135 DC combination. There are a few on flickr, just wondering if any-one on TP uses this pairing.
Also, if some-one has a comparison image of one on a D7000 and the same shot on a full frame would be fantastic.
Also, any general thoughts on this lens?
Thanks so much for your replies, in advance !

I know it's a fairly specialist lens, but does no-one use it?
I am surprised at that.
Any sample images for this lens, on any body, dx or fx?

Grays usually have a couple of used examples in stock. It might be worth your while taking a trip down and trying one out on your D7000.

It's a very fine lens - I used the 105mm version on my D300s and loved it - iq and bokeh. The 135mm on a D7000 would be a bit "long" for my taste but may be exactly what you are looking for and it would be an ideal portrait lens when you go to fx.

Funny you should say that. I am off to Grays of Westminster tomorrow to return my 80-200 under warranty (focus selector switch not locking), so I will have a look whilst I am there.
I did wonder about the 105mm DC, but feel that longer is better when it comes to portraits, and thought the 135mm would be a better choice.
