Anyone got one of these on a FF camera?,i am thinking it might be all i need for landscapes as my old wide angle i never shot below about 18mm or maybe 20mm on a crop sensor.:):ty:

:):D

Ive got the 24-105 and the Samyung 14mm, does all I want to do.

Why would you want 2.8 for landscapes, dont you usually shoot with a bigger depth of field? (unless night time stars in which case 2.8 is good)

Thanks guys, the reviews look good,i don,t really need the 2.8 but it is handy to have on a lens for messing about in low light.
I just want to add one more lens & that will be me i think & keep the wife happy.:)

Any thoughts on the 24mm-105mm L IS lens,is it sharp or sort ok,recommendations on it?.:)

Very sharp. Made as a wide angle to mid tele for FF though.

Was looking at it for my 6D,that,s a possibility.:)

It's a good pairing, it's pretty much my go to lens on my 6d and is superb for landscapes!

Cheers for that Jim.:)

It,s not for crop.:)

24-105 is a jack of all trades sort of lens, and I mean that in a good way. I sold mine a few years back and on occasions I wish I hadn't.
Landscapes, 16-35 F4 ;)

More expensive.:)

this, the range from 24mm to 105mm is so useful as a walk around lens. my copy IQ is ok, not the sharpest when pixel peeping but a bit of sharpening in LR sorts that out. Contrast is good and the useful range is what does it for me :)
