Anyway of repairing SD cards ?

Just done possibly the daftest thing ever.

Was eating pieces of Easter egg while about to put an SD card into my laptop to read some pics i took of the kids this morning, all of a sudden i heard a crack and felt pain in my mouth....i'd only gone a put the sd card in my mouth a tried to eat it thinking it was a another piece of egg :(.....now it won't work on any device.

Any way to salvage the contents ?

Has the casing cracked? If so, can you see if the chips have cracked (in whcih case it's fubar).

If the chips are OK, maybe just a solder joint has broken, in which case it could be repairable.
 
I don't think there's anything you can do except go and buy a new one... If it's any consolation though, you're not the only one to eat something daft this week.

I put a couple of dog biscuits down next to a few loose Bourbon biscuits the other day while I was having a cuppa and inadvertently ate one of the dog's after dunking it in my tea! Tasted bloody horrible too! :D

The moral of the story is to pay attention to what you're sticking in your mouth! ;)
