Apache at Cosford Airshow

Cosford Airshow yesterday was a good day out. Had to leave before the end but was pleased the Apache display was mid afternoon. The pyrotechnics made for an exciting show.

I'm sure the design of the Apache is prioritising function over form, but my word did they hit the mark in the 'menacing' stakes!

Great shot, timing perfect for pyrotechnics having the maximum impact. I get them flying past regularly everyday here but never get such a cool backdrop, just plain sky or clouds.
