I've been trying out the Aperture 3 trial the last couple of days and overall I'm very happy with it. It seemed to behave nicely with Facebook and Flickr. "Great!" I thought, until this morning.
I posted a photo to Flickr yesterday and after some feedback decided to make a small change to one of photo, just a quick bit of cloning to remove something distracting. But when I finished editing the photo Aperture 3 decided to delete the photo on Flickr and upload the new one. No warning or anything. So I've now lost all the comments, notes and views from yesterday on this image.
So quick warning to other users: Aperture 3 will delete your flickr photos if you edit them from the Flickr set. Instead you should edit the original file, export it to JPEG and replace the image via Flickr.
Don't learn the hard way. :thumbsdown:
