quick answer - yes, 2 stops

Just had a quick look whilst in my office

At ISO200

f1.8 = 1/25th second

f3.5 = 1/3 second

Saw some of those for more than that used in a shop at the weekend. Cheaper than a gray import too once you factor in shipping

My local store wanted more for a used 50mm 1.8D than martins wanted new. Think they wanted £95 ish. The grey I looked up was digitalrev.com which was £104 after postage of ~£24 irrc.
