Apple 1 day little sale

As Title not much off many things but apples 1 day promotion for today, means you can get £71 off any of the new imacs and macbook pros i think so the bottom imac comes in @ £878 no slouch and the other thing of intrest and i know some places have it at this is i ordered ellements 8 for £48 with free delivery. I have Apperture 2 but most tutorials tend to be for ellements so what the hell its christmas.

I don't think those 2 are that comparable, LR2 would be a better match against Aperture 2. Both are good for using as a dataflow for your photographs. Elements has some cataloging abilities but not as advanced as LR2, but you do get more advanced features like layers.

Its the layers im after, not done much photo editing but the mags tend to do tutorials for elements and cs.

I know i should spend time with aperture and learn it, but hey elements 8 can be christmas gift from father inlaw.

Saved a nice bit of money, got a student discount off off the one day sale price on a i7.

Aperture or LightRoom dont do layers. Elements 8 does I'm pretty sure, PS does for sure
