Apple finanace

Well I phoned them up and said I was interested in learning more about the Finance option and said that I was too sure if I would be accepted as im a full-time Mum and the bloke said "why waste mine and your time then" so I said thanks but I wasnt going to be spoken too like that and hung up :(

Have got a very nice iMac from this forum now and am more than happy but wont be bothering to ever phone them again!!!!!

I have spoken to Apple about this before and the lady actually advised me not to use Apple finance as the interest is extortionate.

Looked at finance options for my Mac, but to be honest I have to agree with you the rates aren't that good.

Have a look at other options, maybe a credit card with an interest free option might be an alternative.

John Lewis sell Macs so it may be worthwhile checking out if they do any low interest options. Plus they offer a two year extended warranty option.

im not sure if they do it still but currys did a simply 10 finance option i used for my laptop. my laptop was £600 i pay 10 monthly instalments of £60 then a final fee of £60. so in total i paid £660 for the laptop. could be worth looking into

If you know someone with a .ac.uk email a student or someone who works in education you can get further discounts.

I'd stay away from the Finance option if it were me..

The APR rate on this must be high? I am not sure how it works, but that's 10% over 6 months - is that 20% APR?

@chris - something like that - the overall calculation is a tad more complex and I think the overall APR works out more.........
