Yes
I have 2 Manfrotto tripods, as well as a Gitzo traveller. As the Gitzo is always in the car I now have an Arca L bracket on 2 of my 3 bodies. Is there a suitable 3 way head to fit either of my Manfrotto tripods?

I have a 190CX3, and a 055XPROB.

Mnnfrotto do make ARCA compatible reads, anything where the part number ends Q6 is Arca compatible - they even make the adpater plate available to fit existing tripods

Even though I have one, its not the greatest ARCA adapater!

The simple solution, and one I used on some of my tripods is just to fit a Sunwayfoto or similar plate to the existing tripod head

I've always been pleased with the Sunwayfoto products, they are nicely made.

So this just screws to the QR plate? Does it lock to the guides so it doesn't twist?

I just secure it to the existing release plate, using the single centre fitting, you'd have to be going some to get it to twist, but ultimately that is possible. IF you were really kien, you could drill and tap an additional hole to line up with slot on existing tripod head plate and put in a second bolt.

Or use Loktite

I would rather replace the heads on the Manfrotto tripods than use an adapter as a permanent solution, adding a second potential point of failure. If there is a cost issue you can always sell the original heads to offset the cost.

But if you are only ever using one tripod at a time, and mostly the same one, then just switch the Gitzo head between whichever tripod you need.

Sadly that's not a solution for me, the Gitzo has a ball head, for my serious landscape stuff, or when using long lenses, I like a 3 way head.

Typical, I have a Manfrotto MHXPRO-BHQ6 with the Arca plate and a Manfrotto MHXPRO-3W 3 way with the 200PL plate and I don't need both

I just converted my heads to Arca compatible with a few of these (they works a treat):

Edit: I should mention this was just for my ball heads.
I used this one: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/322054548027 which has a pano clamp. It's quite good, although the pano lock screw does work loose sometimes.

I originally bought a separate clamp and conversion kit (without the clamp) only t find they weren't compatible!
