I currently have a Hahnel Triad 40 lite tripod which is a great tripod for my use. In addition I also have a CapturePro with the ArcaPlate. Links to products can be found at the end of the post.
The issue I have is that my CapturePro is equipped for the Arca plate, but my tripod seems to be a non-standard plate. I've managed to take the plate off the balljoint head and found that it has a 10mm diameter screw that holds it in place.
Ideally I'd like to replace the mounting plate with an Arca compatible one, or if I must, with a Manfrotto compatible one. The downside to getting a Manfrotto compatible ones it that I will have to order a new plate from CapturePro.
Any suggestions?
