Hello all.
Quick question if I may.
I have a canon 400d. For the physical size of the battery pack, the amount of charge stored seems to be very low indeed. I tested a pack against some of my other Litium-Ion packs of the same or smaller weights/sizes, and I found that the canon packs store perhaps 1/2 the charge of a well made 3rd party battery. I even jerry rigged a set of connections and put a battery on my battery conditioner. This helped a little, the charge was up by perhaps 10%, but even so, the Canon batteries are definately poor quality.
The problem I have is that the good Li-Po/Li-On's I have don't easily fit into the Camera battery compartment without taking a soldering iron to the battery contacts in the camera..
Does anyone know if there are any third parties who use batter quality cells to make up batteries for camera's so as they stay alive a lot longer? If so, please could you post a link or some details?
