Are people on ebay taking the mick, been looking at buying a medium format kit, mamye or bronica .What some people are asking is just taking the mick, some prices are higher than when the kit was new
Sure you dont want to give it away but be realistic,if its so good why not keep it and use it,alot better than digital anyway (wish i had not said that LOL)
I have found mainland dealers cheaper with a warenty for at least 3 months and some body to talk to if thing do go pear shaped
Got £1k for a good 645 kit and wont have much bother getting a nice 3 lens kit with a extra back or incert

...or maybe £600 for a nice Pentax 6x7 kit in an equally-nice Peli-case...?

Well, one thing about Ebai gum is that it's up to you whether to bid or not. If I can get £50 for a Jaeger suit which I bought on Ebai just a week before for £25 which is the realistic price?
Bid what it's worth to you or advertise your wants here and hope for more realistic pricing - though not always. (Present company excepted of course).

It has had no Pro use at all...bought in 1998 to do group photos and studio portraits and used on maybe three occasions outside a studio.
I went back into the Army that year and have used Nikon DSLRs for everything 'Pro' since that time.

It's currently on loan to another member here (who will no doubt be horrified at reading this thread...sorry David)...

Ebay is full of people trying to make as much as they can out of people who are trying to spend as little as they can. It does generally play to the sellers' advantage though. Shop smart and know when to say "no".

I'll admit to sitting there watching people buying cameras off me on ebay, for more than I found them for sale at in online shops whilst researching them.

The prices people are paying are sometimes very silly indeed.
