I installed Darktable recently. Works a treat. Also does DAM which is handy. For me...

RawTherapy is a good Raw converter. Digikam is not as good but is very capable and does DAM as well.

I used to use UFRaw as my Raw converter - it was excellent, much better than Lightroom - but it has not been supported for a few years and is no good for recent cameras.

What do you mean by RAW convertor ?

A Raw converter converts a Raw file into a RGB image that you can work on.

I too use Digikam for managing the photos, and then select one and "Open with..." Raw Therapee, or Hugin, or Gimp etc.
