Just so you know folks... this type of SPAM is prolific on large forums, and I'm sure the team will be removing it asap. I too run a large forum and have a team of 8 mods from across the globe who regularly remove this dreadful stuff.
 
I think i will return later.

the mods will be on it as soon as they get out of bed, bless them even they deserve a sunday lie in..
 
Also is there anyway to help site admin stop this sort of thing in future ?

Could threads containing certain words be put into a pending state until checked by a moderator ?
 
Agree - don't reply.

These things happen on any forum - big or small - and it isn't always possible to pick them up ahead of time no matter how good your admins are (e.g. spammers pay people to open accounts on forums to get around restrictions).

I've seen enough of these - and worse - not to be shocked by them. I'd still rather I hadn't, especially at this time of the morning.

PS - I checked the list and none of the Admins are online yet.

It's impossible to eliminate spam on a forum. TP does a pretty good job of it.

It's Sunday morning, give them a break, unless you want to start paying a subscription for guaranteed content filtering.

Thanks so much dod! Sterling effort as always on the part of a fab team! :) Is there anyway to remove all the posts as they are still on the lists?

mid gen - no-one was having a go at the mods at all INMO - we were just waiting for them to help us out by banning the imbeciles that thought it was ok to post content like that.
