Argh.. buy cheap, buy twice? Or shell out

I just ordered some Lee Filter stuff (holder/adapter ring) and need some filters.

Now I've had a Hitech filter before and I thought it did a cracking job (gromit). And so I can get 3 Hitech 100mm filters for 59 quid or I can get one Lee for 59 quid.

Someone knock some sense into me!

Hitech - get ND, NDG hard, and NDG soft for the same price as one set of Lee NDG

And start saving for a CPL - you'll be looking at £150ish for the Lee from memory

Depends on if your going to be stacking the filters or not....I did the same as you and bought the Lee kit and the Hitech filters and they are great. That is until you start stacking them up, hence now I have started to purchase my most used filters (0.9hard and soft) from Lee.

Yeah, I bought a set of Hitech filters just to get me going again and when money is a little more in supply then I'll get some Lee filters. But needed something for Scotland at least!
