Arlesford memories

Hi all

I've never really shot any kind of portraits or people in any form for that matter, but a trip to Arlesford railway station made me want to give it a try. I took several shots at the station and these are the two that stand out for me.

What do you guys think?

image two is just incredible I think, so much character and the smoke(?) makes it that much better.

Thank you. The 'smoke' is actually steam bellowing up from the locomotives water drains.

I like them both. 2 has lots of character but 1's my favorite, it makes me wonder why he's standing there. The black and white makes them both. Well done!

Both really good, #1 especially so, great DOF, the tones are delicious, I love the deep blacks on his back and the reflection from the tarmac, looks like film, which is always good!
