Great lens, the Tokina 12-24. I am using one too, and it has transformed everything!

Nice set. Did you use a bit of fill in flash on no 5? Not sure it adds anything to the picture for me.

horizon and windsurfer too central
horizon too central and dust spots everywhere
A bit more sky needed so the tops of the masts are not cut off
very good and almost perfect
nice coposition
not too sure the flash has helped the image and there is a lot of distortion on the horizon.

Thanks, I liked that when I looked in the viewfinder. It is straight out of the camera no colour touched at all.

Thank you. Do you mean number 6? That is the only one I used fill flash on.

1.I do appreciate when people take the time to comment.
I wanted the Setting sun on the windsurfer as he passed through it, however I will take note of what you say.
2. Yes you are right, but I wanted the sea & Sky in equal parts, however, again I do take note. Dust spots..

3. Yes your right, I concentrated on the golden sand & getting the boat in.
as it was a prime I was a little limited.
4. & 5. Thanks. As I said above about number 5, I liked that as soon as I looked in the viewfinder.
6. It would have been a dark Silhouette without fill in flash. Not too sure what you mean about the horizon, as it is, as it was, at the time.
I would like it if you could explain further.

Oh, and yes, it does help.

I have changed number 6 a little. I now have another photo taken at the same time with no fill flash. Please let me know your opinions.

Thanks. The Nikon 300mm f/4 prime is a great lens & I've taken everything from a small butterfly to The Red Arrows in near dark with it, oh & not forgetting the Dragonfly's in Flight. The results are really good. It was my favourite lens but it now has to share the honours with the Tokina 12-24.

10 times better IMHO but does that mean anything?
